The Minh Viet story begins in 2008 with the founding of SMV (Strategic Marine Vietnam) — a pioneering marine services company that built a reputation for technical quality and on-time delivery across Southeast Asia.
MVS (Minh Viet Shipyard) was established in 2026 at the Dong Xuyen Industrial Zone in Ho Chi Minh City as the successor yard, combining 17+ years of maritime heritage with a modern, purpose-built 128,000 m² facility.
With first keel-laying scheduled for Q3 2026, MVS is positioned to become Vietnam's leading exporter of offshore service, passenger, and specialised vessels to international markets.

Decade Milestone
