About Minh Viet Shipyard
A new chapter in Vietnamese shipbuilding — rooted in 15+ years of maritime heritage and focused on the global stage.
15+ Years of Maritime Excellence
The Minh Viet story begins in 2008 with the founding of SMV — a pioneering marine services company that built a reputation for technical quality and on-time delivery across Southeast Asia.
MVS Shipyard (Minh Viet Shipyard) was established at the Dong Xuyen Industrial Zone in Ho Chi Minh City, combining maritime heritage with a modern, purpose-built facility.
With a first keel-laying planned for 2026, MVS is positioned to become Vietnam's leading exporter of offshore service, passenger, and specialised vessels to international markets.
